  • Sunday Morning Worship

    "How does a weary world rejoice?" Headlines cause worry and our hearts are full of compassion & concern - how do we experience the love, peace, joy and hope of Advent? Join us on 12/17 for one traditional service at 8:30, and a light-hearted Cocoa & Carols service in the Fellowship Hall at 11. On 12/24, we will have ONE service at 10. Bring a breakfast item to share. or just bring yourself!.

    Christmas Eve is on a Sunday this year, which means the Fourth Sunday of Advent worship will be the morning of Christmas Eve. We will gather together as a church family for ONE casual service at 10 a.m. Bring a brunch item to share!

    Enjoy Carols, Candles and Communion with the AHUMC church family. Services are at 5:00 p.m. (a special service for children and families); 7:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.

    All are invited for breakfast, crafts, cookie decorating, storytelling, and a visit from Saint Nick! All are welcome at this FREE event  In the spirit of giving, you are invited to bring a package of diapers to donate to Berry Sweet Babies: https://www.facebook.com/BerrySweetBabies/.

  • Past Event: Children's musical: Radio J.O.Y.

    This delightful Christmas musical retells the Nativity story through songs and stories of those who shared in the glorious event of Christ's birth.  Radio studio "J-O-Y" sets the stage where a local children's choir and their pastor present the Christmas story while being interviewed by disc jockey celebrity, "Dee Jay." 


    This is a free event. Invite your friends!


  • Past event: A Service of healing and hope

    Wednesday, December 6, 6:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary

    While the holiday season brings many joyous moments, it can be a difficult time for those who are mourning a loss of a loved one. This quiet service provides a peaceful moment of contemplation for any who wish to pause and connect with God at the beginning of December. Communion will be served.

    Sunday, December 10, 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary

    Our gift to the community! Come enjoy the majesty of G.F. Handel's Messiah, performed by our Chancel Choir & Chamber Orchestra, with your friends and family. 

    Nursery care is available for preschool children.

    Sunday, December 17 at 11 a.m. in the Encounter Worship Space

    Bring your family & friends to this fun service of sweet treats and singing! Our late services will combine this Sunday for one service in the Encounter Worship Space. (We will have a Traditional Service at 8:30 this day.) 

  • Past Event: Carols By Candlelight

    Sunday, December 17, 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary

    Relax and enjoy some of the favorite songs of the season as our Bell Conte Ringers (and additional musicians) provide a cozy concert for the whole family. Children are very welcome to attend the concert. We will also provide loving nursery care for infants through preschool.
