This year marks the 200th anniversary of one of the best loved Christmas carols, Silent Night. Something mystical occurs as we light our candles and sing the hope of “all is calm, all is bright” — peace and light for the world.

Grandmas’ Breakfast with Santa
Dec. 1 • 9 a.m.
The Grandmothers of AHUMC invite you for breakfast, crafts, cookie decorating, storytelling, and a visit from Saint Nick! All are welcome at this FREE event! Please come and invite a friend to join you.
In the spirit of giving that is an important part of Christmas, we will collect items for victims of domestic violence. Small, new items to stock the Safe Haven “mall” will be used for the mothers and children to “shop” for gifts for each other for Christmas. The Best Christmas Pageant EVER!
Dec. 2 • 6 p.m.
Children, youth, and adults will share the power of the Christmas story. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever follows the outrageous shenanigans of the Herdman siblings, or “the worst kids in the history of the world.” The siblings take over the annual Christmas pageant in a hilarious yet heartwarming tale involving the Three Wise Men, a ham, scared shepherds, and six rowdy kids.
A Service of Healing and Hope
Dec. 5 • 6:30 p.m.
Those who experience grief at this time of year are encouraged to attend this quiet, meditative service.
Chancel Choir presents Messiah
Dec. 9 • 7 p.m.
The majesty of Messiah will move you. More than 80 musicians will present this musical event — rejoice!
Parents’ Morning Out
Dec. 15 • 9 a.m. – noon
Enjoy time without the kids to shop, decorate, clean or rest! We’ll provide crafts, snacks and games. For ages 10 and younger. $20 per child. Register online.
Carols by Candlelight
Dec. 16 • 7 p.m.
Don’t miss wonderful carols with handbells and an instrumental ensemble.
Christmas Eve Worship
Dec. 24 • 5, 7:30, & 11 p.m.
Celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The 5 p.m. service is designed especially for children and families. Christmas Organ Concert at 10:30 p.m.
