  • Vacation Bible School: July 29 - August 2

    Get ready to blast off for a week of Bible stories, games, crafts, snacks and fun as children learn about the love of Jesus! VBS is open to children who are entering Kindergarten through entering 6th grade. Students entering 5th and 6th grades participate in daily field trips as part of our Service Squad.   • Auditions for Our Summer Musical

    All ages and experience levels are invited to audition for our Impact! Arts Ministry summer musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, on Saturday, June 22 from noon to 2 p.m. Click here to register. For more information, contact Director Kim Owen. Rehearsals will be held on weeknights and weekends in July and August, and performances will be August 9-11, 2019.

  • Drama Camp for Children and Youth

    Click here to register online! Led by Kim Owen, recent Texas Wesleyan University Theatre graduate, along with TWU alumni and students, this fun drama camp will teach improv, dance, stage combat and more! Offering sessions for children (8-12) and youth (13-17), Camp Creative will be held July 8-12, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m, with a final performance at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.   • Preschool Playdays

    Beat the heat this summer while making new friends! Preschoolers and parents are invited to the Kids' Kingdom (preschool area) for summer playdates, 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesdays, beginning June 19. This is not a drop-off event. Contact Linda Nevitt, Children's Coordinator, for more information.



  • Project Transformation

    Connecting Children, College Students and Churches, Project Transformation engages college interns as leaders in a ministry that promotes literacy in our community. AHUMC supports Project Transformation by providing meals for interns and volunteers to read with children. Click here for more information about PT.
