Arlington Heights United Methodist Church supports a number of local ministries with our gifts of time and financial contributions:
The Adoption Tree project is an outreach mission of AHUMC which provides Christmas gifts to children in need (and their siblings) that attend North Hi Mount Elementary. With the assistance of the school couselor, we receive names of students and their Christmas wish / need lists. These are then listed on tags and displayed on Christmas trees in the atrium and fellowship hall. We will provide Christmas for more than 100 children this year. You are invited to select a child's tag, purchase gifts, and return them to the atrium by December 11. The gifts will be delivered to the school for the parents to pick up. If you have questions or would like to volunteer to help with this mission, please contact Gale Boyd, 817.296.5629 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

Grace Bags - Church members collect and assemble bags with food and water to give to those who come to our church seeking aid. Assistance is given to help these individuals find a social agency that can help meet their greater needs.
NICA - Northside Inter-Community Agency - seeks to contribute to the elimination of poverty by mobilizing and coordinating the efforts of persons, churches and agencies on the north side of Fort Worth. AHUMC has members who serve on the Board and volunteer their time throughout the year. As a congregation, we support NICA with donations of canned goods and money throughout the year.
United Community Centers - UCC empowers individuals, strengthens families and enriches communities at three neighborhood centers in Fort Worth. Children from some of the neediest families are able to attend these centers for after-school enrichment and receive a hot meal each evening. AHUMC members serve on the Board, and we as a church support UCC with our gifts of time and money.
WestAid - WestAid is a social service agency that specifically provides assistance with food and transportation for individuals in zip codes 76107, 76116, 76126 and 76109 west of Bryant Irvin. Throughout the year, AHUMC members contribute canned goods to help feed those who are hungry in our community.
First Street Mission - First Street Mission is a 501(c)3 organization affiliated with First United Methosit Church, Fort Worth. We support First Street Mission with volunteer hours and financial offerings, and work with them to provide assistance to those in need in our community.
